Changing your
Riccar bags 100-800, 2000 ,4000 Series
Changing
your vacuum bags for this series are pretty straight forward on this
Riccar series., but there are a few tips and information I would like
to share with you. Your vacuum cleaner came with Riccar's Ultra
filtration micro line bags which are a high grade paper bag with a
micro filter fused to the inside of the paper bag making it 6 times
better filtration than standard paper vacuum bags
On
top of the bag door look for the cut out to place your hand on the
older models 2000 4000 series just grasp with your hand and pull
straight out removing the bag door on the newer models 100-800 series
Riccar has added a release button to unlock the bag door from the main
body on those models just depress the button and pull bag door from the
main body and set aside
With the bag door set aside reach
in with your two hand place your fingers behind the vacuum bag all the
way behind the cardboard collar while placing your thumbs in front of
the bag pressing in locating the intake tube. By pulling out behind the
bag cardboard collar and pushing in with your thumbs against the intake
tube the Bags should slide off of the intake sometime a slight twisting
motion will help when off you can flip up the dust seal on the old bag
to plug the dirt from puffing out
Inserting your new
vacuum bag most important things are to make sure the bag is all the
way on the intake tube with the cardboard collar flush against the back
of the bag housing and that the bottom and the sides are tuck in the
bag housing andno part of the bag is keeping the bag door from sealing
to the bag
housing when in place if not you will lose suction when
vacuuming. I like to lower the handle all the way in the down position
when putting in a new bag you can do this by tapping on your foot
release pedal In this position you can use gravity when placing you
paper bag on the bag tube pushing straight down on the bag until the
bag collar is flush with the back of the housing,
Raise the handle back up line the bag door with the slots at the bottom of the bag housing and close |
